Novecento was the senior work of Nerina Cocchi at Middlebury College.
Cocchi translated and adapted the Italian monologue of the same name by Alessandro Baricco into a five person play. Set on
a third-class ballroom on the Virginian, an ocean liner from 1900 to 1946, the cast weaves the story of Danny Boodman
T.D. Lemon Novecento. Light was primarily used for mood to compliment the abstracted set design.
